Kids Make Art

Making art is a great way to get your feelings out. Just like writing, art can also be a way to get your stories down on paper. Drawings and photos can become a part of your life story book and help you remember important people and events you have lived through.

Do you have a drawing, painting or photo that you want to share with Adoption Clubhouse?

Patchwork Quilt

This artwork is from a patchwork quilt that was made at a National Adotpion Center Conference for adoptive families. Children of all ages who were at the conference had a chance to make their own quilt patches. These young artists wanted to show through their pictures what adoption meant to them.

All kids have thoughts or daydreams, at times, about what it would be like to have different parents or belong to a different family.
