Two Worlds Together in Me
Story by Jamie Morgan de Pina
Pictures by Joshua Mays

If someone in your family is 3 or 2 or even 1 year old, they are not too little for this book. That's because Two Worlds Together in Me is a board book with stiff, shiny cardboard pages. It is filled with brightly colored pictures of families doing things little kids know all about, like playing ball, grocery shopping, or pushing someone's wheelchair at the zoo. Some of the kids look like their parents, and some do not.

If you are a little bit older, this book also has something for you. There are special words to remember and repeat that can help when you are feeling like you don't fit in. The two worlds for adopted kids are the world you came from, which might be a different family or a different country, and the world of your family, where you live in now. Both worlds make you who you are-someone special and unique!
