The National Adoption Center, and its affiliate, the Adoption Center of Delaware Valley (collectively, the Center) has a strong commitment to user privacy as demonstrated by this statement and its gathering and dissemination practices for its websites. The Center collects information volunteered by visitors to its websites, such as survey information and/or site registrations. Any information provided to the Center will be stored in a secure environment and will not be misused.

The Center receives information from social workers and manages information for children who are waiting for adoption, for families approved for adoption, and for prospective adoptive families. The sole purpose for the collection of this information is to facilitate quality recruitment, secure placements, and establish permanency for U.S. waiting children. Therefore, demographic and profile data on families are collected at the Center's sites.

The Center's sites contain links to other sites. The National Adoption Center, including the affiliated Adoption Center of Delaware Valley, is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such sites.
